He was born in Texas, grew up in Houston and San Marcos, In 2005, he started his own luxury brand called “Tom Ford.” Before starting Tom Ford brand, he worked as the creative director at famous fashion houses like Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. Tom is different fashion designer and a well known artist; he also wrote and directed movies like “A Single Man” (2009) and “Nocturnal Animals” (2016). These films are very much popular and created a great impact on fashion market. Right now, he is the chairman of the Board of the Council of fashion designers of America.

Although Ralph Lauren resigned as CEO in 2015, but he still holds his position of executive chairman and chief creative officer.
